We are seeking a number of software developers with varying levels of experience:
Entry (Level 1): Between 1-3 year’s software development or integration experience.
Practitioner (Level 2): Between 3-5 year’s software development or integration experience.
Expert (Level 3): 5+ year’s software development or integration experience; experience leading software development or integration projects.
Ideally your experience in the full software development lifecycle, with a working knowledge of Agile, DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies or solid exposure to theses are necessary to be successful in this team.
The technologies are nearly as varied as the work itself and we are also interested in experience with one or more of the following or similar:
Java
JavaScript, JQuery
Microsoft platforms/frameworks e.g. C# and PowerShell
Web apps
Linux administration
Configuration/deployment tools (Ansible etc.)
Containerisation (Docker etc.)
Version control systems (Git etc.)

To be eligible for employment within the NZIC you must have been a NZ citizen for at least 10 years. Alternatively you must hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.
You must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance. Ordinarily to obtain this level of clearance candidates must have a 15 year checkable background in countries where meaningful and reliable checks can be undertaken. Where requisite checks are unable to be made, the candidate application may not be able to be progressed.
