T he Opportunity: What This Role’s All About
As a Support Coordinator you will be supporting people with disabilities in a range of settings including in their home, out in the community and at our day centres. The people we support have varying levels of need, and daily tasks will include cooking, cleaning, medication administration, online shopping, personal cares, as well as facilitating community participation, recreational activities, and supporting people to achieve their goals. You may also provide person-centred support in homes where routine is critical; following details plans to meet the needs of the people.
Rostered hours:
Position one: St John Service
Week One: Friday: 4.00pm to 9:30pm plus sleepover Saturday: 6:30am to 9:30pm plus sleepover Sunday: 6:30am to 8.00pm
Week Two: Friday: 4.00pm to 9:30pm plus sleepover Saturday: 6:30am to 8.00pm
Rostered hours:
Position two: Sutherland Service
Friday: 4pm-10pm
Saturday: 9am- 8pm
Sunday: 9am-4pm
Rostered hours:
Position three: Kotare Service
Thursday: 9.00am to 6:00pm
Friday: 9.00am to 6:00pm
Saturday: 9.00am to 6:00pm
Full drivers license and the right to work in New Zealand are essential to this role.
