ABOUT THE ROLE
The Jade Operations Team has a position available in Christchurch for an entry level Systems Administrator. This is an exciting full-time role with the key purpose of providing first line support and monitoring for our global customers using our 24 x 7 systems management service. If successful, your problem diagnosis and resolutions skills will be fully utilised.

Key responsibilities: *

Issue Resolution*
- You will monitor our operator consoles and respond to system requests and messages within agreed timeframes
- You will manage and follow-up problems reported via the helpdesk to resolve any issues
System Management
- You will ensure hardware/software applications and network components are operational, responding to any issues as they arise
- You will control user log-on and registration requirements to comply with Company policy
Continuous Improvement
- You will contribute to the development of our operational procedures to ensure they are always up to date
ABOUT YOU
As the successful candidate you will possess:
- Broad knowledge of Microsoft Server Operating Systems
- Excellent command of English and strong communication and comprehension skills
- Strong customer service focus and ability to remain composed under pressure
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a self-managing, team environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Previous IT helpdesk experience is an advantage but not essential
- Relevant IT Qualification would also be beneficial
The successful candidate must also be available to work rostered rotating shifts to support our 24 x 7 customer service requirements
