UX Designer – Christchurch, Canterbury

We collect job opportunities from many sources and post here. We are specially targeting casual and temporary jobs which are suited for university students to earn while they study. Most of the job openings are from the location where famous universities are located.

Please find the below latest job opportunity

We celebrate diversity and unite on the elements of our company DNA, starting every customer conversation with “why?” to understand their needs, working hard to find a way to overcome every challenge, and fighting for better outcomes with the work we do; all while checking our egos at the door, not taking ourselves too seriously and having fun along the way

We are looking for candidates located anywhere in the East Coast of Australia.

Who we are:

Squiz has helped organisations improve the services they offer online and, in turn, the lives of the people that matter to them; building portals for students, websites for citizens, intranets for employees, and much more.

Headquartered in Australia, we have teams and customers across the globe, with offices in New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom and Poland.

Right now, we are in the midst of a very important and exciting point in our journey as we transform our business into a SaaS Digital Experience Platform product organisation, putting the power of the products we’ve used to deliver amazing experiences into the hands of our customers.

We’re looking for people like you that want to be a part of this journey of reinvention as we build an amazing Australian SaaS product business, with the experience and enthusiasm to use amazing technology in new and creative ways.

Who you would be working with:

The Squiz creative services team helps clients succeed through user-centred, data-driven UX, UI, content and strategy. The Senior UX designer is a client-facing role working within and across development squads. You’ll be part of a terrific global creative and consulting team and will work with clients in Australia, New Zealand and beyond. You’ll have the freedom to propel your own projects, with the support of the project managers and collaborative colleagues.

Who you are: Squiz is for everyone. If you’re smart and good at what you do, come as you are.

We are looking for an analytically minded, user-oriented and pragmatic UX superstar to work across a diverse set of clients in a broad range of industries, typically within very large and complex digital environments.

The role will span UX activities such as stakeholder engagement, analytics, discovery workshops, user research, content, IA design, journey mapping, wireframing (hi-fi UI design would be an added bonus!) prototyping and usability testing.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Significant experience leading UX-related activities on enterprise projects, including preparing and facilitating in-person or remote workshops, interviews and usability testing sessions, or undertaking IA design for large or complex systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities to clearly tell the design story, articulate key findings, deliver recommendations, and write or audit content.
  • Wireframing and rapid prototyping skills, using software like Figma or XD.
  • Professional experience in an agency environment or in government, education or large corporations would be well regarded.
  • Strong influencing and consulting experience.

What you would do:

  • Lead a project’s UX activities from presales through to implementation.
  • Conduct stakeholder engagement activities, and facilitate collaborative workshops with stakeholders, users and multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct user research activities including interviews, contextual inquiries and usability testing
  • Analyse, interpret and report on research findings
  • Design feasible, implementable and user-centred digital experiences
  • Contribute to quotes and proposals, and scoping and selling of projects
  • Educate clients and internal teams in UX best practice, methodologies and processes

Why work for Squiz?

You’ll work with some of the most intelligent and down to earth people you’ll ever meet: we are made up of a diverse range of passionate people who love challenging the status quo. Every day is different, but what is constant is we enjoy what we do.

Squiz has a flexible working policy: We encourage our teams to embrace flexibility in how their team members manage where and how they work. We want you to be able to work in a way that drives productivity, efficiency and outcomes; along with connection and collaboration.
