Duties & Responsilities
– Plan menus in consultation with managing director an0d restaurant manager
– Select kitchen staff inc onsultation with managing director
– Control all kitchen staff
– Assist the restaurant owner with food quality control and control the stock of food under the direction of the restaurant owner
– Maintain proper standards of hygiene in the storage and prepararation of food
– Prepare the food for cooking
– Cook the food
– Monitor the level of stocks and supplies of foodstuffs
– Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen
– Work with a positive attitude
– Obey all lawful instructions
Must have knowledge about the food safety guidelines
