We’re searching for an Assistant Category Manager with a specialisation in Art & Craft who wants to be part of Australia’s leading Education supply business. If you’re highly motivated and looking to take your first step in a professional career, or someone who is looking for an entry-level role to start building your career in sourcing and buying – this role may be the perfect fit!

This role will see you provide support for our Art & Craft Category Manager within our Product and Merchandise team.

This
includes:

  • Assist the Category Manager in all areas of range planning, product selection, upload and performance review
  • Take ownership of product listings; prepare data within Excel submission sheets to complete the end to end process of launching new ranges to the website
  • Ensure product submissions from suppliers are provided with correct details, assist with gathering testing and compliance information for new products.
  • Work closely with product content and studio teams to ensure that all products are accurately represented on the website to maximise sales and customer satisfaction
  • Support all OEM development across Art & Craft including packaging and compliance tasks and requests
  • Assist with resolving product and related queries raised by customer service and sales team
  • Regularly carry out competitive research and analysis to ensure the Art & Craft category stays in line with or ahead of competitors and is the market leader.
  • Assist with catalogue proofing and price checking.
  • Update and monitor Netstore structures, images and copy
  • Provide administrative support as necessary.

You should be:

  • A lover of art materials and have an interest and excitement about this field of education.
  • Keen to learn more about the Arts curriculum to align products and content for Australian and New Zealand schools
  • Interested in product buying and merchandising.
  • Delighted by diving into data – being able to work with documents and spreadsheets and back end systems to maintain and create product master data, copy and seo content.
  • A multi-tasking wizard – our team’s a busy environment where there are many balls in the air at one time and being able to not drop them and meet deadlines is key!
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and the world of VLOOKUP’s
  • Tech savvy and interested to learn a variety of IT platforms to improve working efficiency.
  • Passionate about education and the chance to make a difference for students and educators across Australia and New Zealand
