BUPA Crofton Downs is Wellington’s newest suburban gem providing a state of the art care environment, community and security. Now that the bricks and mortar are in place, we are building a world class team to work in our brand new, purpose built site which incorporates all new equipment. Crofton Downs as a single site consists of 49 Care Home Beds along with 82, 1 & 2 bedroom Retirement Village apartments.
This facility is due to open early 2022.

As a Caregiver at Bupa, you will work under the guidance and supervision of qualified nursing staff and management, to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. You will deliver the highest quality person first care to residents in line with their individual care plan. We have a variety of roles to choose from to suit your lifestyle: Casual – Part Time – Full Time
Key Task and Responsibilities
- Treat residents with respect and dignity
- Provide personal care assistance with daily living
- Mobility assistance in accordance with resident care plans
- Maintain accurate health care documentation as required
- Encourage all residents to participate in scheduled social activities
- Contribute to the development of a positive, safe, home environment for residents, visitors, and the wider team
- Adhere to workplace health and safety guidelines and policies
Who are we looking for?
- An NZQA qualification in Health Care and Wellbeing is preferable, however, this is not essential
- Ideally, you will have previous aged care experience, however, we are willing to provide comprehensive training to the right candidate
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, care, and passion for making a positive impact on residents
- Reliable transport or travel arrangements
- Committed to working on a rotating roster
