Job Title: Clinical Psychologist – Rural
Location: Rural Southland
Hours: Permanent Part-Time – 0.8 FTE | Monday to Friday
Salary: $72k- $100k depending on experience

It goes with saying you will possess excellent communication and team working skills and will be able to work well under pressure and in stressful situations. Having experience working with adult patients with mental illness in a community setting, this role combines assessment, treatment and psychotherapy for people experiencing both acute and longstanding psychological conditions and issues.
The Clinical Psychologist is an integral and valued member of the multidisciplinary team responsible for the provision of patient-centred interventions.
Clinicians are motivated to provide optimal treatment through thorough assessment and continued multi-disciplinary team coordination of treatment.
We want a like-minded individual, to join our small multi-disciplinary team of Psychiatrists, Registered Nurses and Social Workers. You will provide a wide range of psychological services including risk assessment, diagnostics, formulation and treatment planning and cognitive therapy skills.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Psychologist experienced in Mental Health to join our enthusiastic team based in rural Southland. This role provides outpatient clinics and outreach services to people living in the wider rural area.
We are an innovative service, looking to develop our model of delivery towards a stepped care approach. Clinicians are motivated to provide optimal treatment through thorough assessment and continued multi-disciplinary team coordination of treatment.

You must be registered with the NZ Psychologist Board and have a Clinical scope of practice to be considered for this vacancy.
