  • The payrate for entry level starters is $23.07 per hour
  • This is an entry level role and no prior experience is required. A comprehensive training and development program will be offered to all team members.

About Slade Health:
Slade Health, a division of ICON Group, is one of Australia’s largest providers of sterile compounding services, including chemotherapy, analgesics, antibiotics and TPN products.
Slade Health supplies over one million infusions per annum to in-excess of 200 hospital partners via its three compounding facilities. It is now poised for its next phase of growth, creating exciting new opportunities within the organisation in New Zealand.

Slade Health New Zealand:
Slade Health is partnering with the Auckland District Health Board (ADHB) to build a new world-class Medsafe licenced compounding facility capable of producing chemotherapy, antibiotics, analgesics, and nutritional products.
The partnership with ADHB will see Slade Health supply compounded products for public hospitals in the Auckland region, which represents approximately 40% of New Zealand’s cancer patients.

About the role:
This is a permanent full time position, shifts available across the hours of 6.30 am to 6 pm, Monday – Friday. You will be provided with extensive training and will be responsible for:

  • Decontamination of materials
  • Printing labels and batch documents
  • Compounding/mixing product in the cleanroom
  • Checking, packing and labelling final product
  • Ensuring completion of documentation

This role will also have the unique opportunity to be involved in the start-up phase of the site and will play an integral part in validation and certification activities in preparation for commencement of site operation. The Site will officially open in August, subject to the regulatory approvals.

What we are looking for:
Formal qualifications are not a requirement, because it’s more important for every Production Technician to commit to the training; then work efficiently, accurately and with an appreciation for the importance of the quality of the product. We’d love to hear from you if you have an eye for detail and meticulous record-keeping skills. Slade Health is a hive of activity, so we strive to build a team of individuals with a proactive and enthusiastic working style and strong communication skills.
