Delivery Driver – Class 1 (Permanent position)

The Company:

Our client is a well-known New Zealand family-owned business that specialises in workwear, uniforms, and related clothing.

The Position:

We are currently seeking a reliable driver to deliver clothing-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Working as part of a highly motivated team based in Hamilton, you will be responsible for driving a class 1 van, loading-unloading products and delivering to customers, and interacting in a professional manner. You’ll be driving in Hamilton and around the Waikato region.

This role requires entry to customer sites that are subject to a mandate requiring all site visitors to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19. For this reason, any applicants for this role must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19

Requirements:

• The availability to work Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays when needed.
• A full Class 1 license with clean driving history
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy items on occasion
• Be a self-starter and motivated to work.
• An understanding of the importance of accuracy.
• Previous experience as a driver on New Zealand Roads
• Great customer service skills and the ability to speak professionally to clients

Working hours and Pay rate:

Monday to Friday 6 am to 3:30 pm with occasional Saturdays only.

The pay rate is $23 per hour for 45 hours per week
