The IT Support Officer role is responsible for supporting all aspects of IT and telecommunication systems, as follows:
- Assist with resolving all support requests logged via the Helpdesk and liaising with external IT Provider and other support partners where required
- Maintaining IT equipment and applications
- Site outage management
- Equipment procurement and disposal
- Equipment commissioning and de-commissioning
- Component replacement and basic IT repairs
- Maintaining IT Asset and software registers
- Desk phone, including VOIP and mobile phone support and management
This role will also include providing training for staff to effectively use all IT, Software Applications, and telecommunication systems to enable them to meet workload demands
