About The Role – Te mahi
Sudima Queenstown is a new 4.5-star hotel in the bustling Frankton area conveniently located in the Five Mile retail precinct with views of the surrounding landscapes, high quality fit-out, well-appointed rooms, restaurant, bar and conference facilities.
Ski season is in full swing and our hotel is getting busy! This great opportunity has arisen for a Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen team at Sudima Queenstown Five Mile.
This role will be supporting our kitchen team with prep, cleaning and storage of goods and would be a great stepping stone for someone who is looking to get into a career to become a chef or someone who is wanting to work when they are not hitting the slopes!
In this role you will:
- Demonstrate professional personal presentation and work ethic.
- Have the ability to work calmly under pressure
- Enjoy cleaning and kitchen prep work
- Be enthusiastic and show initiative
Requirements
- Excellent command of the English language
- Can work on a rotating roster 7 days a week
- Candidates must already have the legal right to work in New Zealand to be considered for the role.
This role is required to be performed by a COVID-19 vaccinated worker in line with our company COVID-19 policy, where all workers & contractors are required to be vaccinated. As a mixed hospitality environment all our outlets and worksites require guests and visitors over 12 years and 3 months to present a valid vaccine pass (MVP) to gain entry. Our team are proud to be 100% vaccinated against COVID-19 doing our part to keep our workplaces, whānau and communities safe.
