Our reception and administration team play an important part in our medical centre as they are the first point of contact for our patients and their whanau.
We expect a positive attitude, calm demeanor, and compassionate and caring nature from all our colleagues here at The Doctors Hastings. You will be expected to be open to learning new tasks and have an eye for detail and accuracy. A great sense of humor and a high level of empathy is a must.
The role is based in The Doctors Hastings as well as our 2 satellite clinics, The Doctors Waipawa and The Doctors Gascoigne.
This is a permanent full time role, working 32 hours per week between Monday to Friday.
About the position and you:
As a receptionist you will report to the Reception Team Lead and be part of a team that:
- Welcomes patients into the medical centre
- Thrives in an extremely busy environment
- Manages incoming calls from patients and providers.
- Manages appointment bookings and cash handling for the practice.
You will bring to the role:
- Experience in customer service.
- A professional and positive attitude
