About the role

We’re on the hunt for a talented and experienced administrator to join our Air Traffic Services unit based in Christchurch. This is a busy, hands-on part time role which will see you working closely with a variety of air traffic teams across the country to deliver high-quality operational administrative and coordination services that help keep our operations running smoothly.

As a “champion of all things administration” you will be joining a small close-knit and dedicated team responsible for providing day-to-day operational administrative support to the geographically disbursed Air Traffic Services teams. This is a multifaceted role that will change its focus based on evolving business priorities, so you’ll need to be solutions focused and be prepared to roll up your sleeves and pitch in where needed.

The role involves:

  • Arranging, coordinating and booking travel
  • Supporting new staff induction and on-boarding processes
  • Maintain and update administration databases
  • Attending meetings and taking minutes
  • Meeting and greeting visitors, including supervision of contractors within the operational areas

About you

Attitude and energy are everything! We’re looking for someone who has experience supporting and juggling multiple tasks and who thrives in a busy multi-layered environment. A self-starter in nature, you’ll be someone who takes initiative and offers a solution focused approach to getting things done. You’ll need to be an effective communicator, able to build strong relationships across various levels and be approachable in nature.

Most importantly, you’ll be computer savvy, enjoy delivering in a fast-paced environment and have the energy and drive to support a busy team. You will be truly successful in this role by knowing what the team needs before they know they need it!
