We need help on regular Saturday mornings to take to outings (music therapy sessions mostly) (Petrol allowance given) from around 11am to 1pm (longer hours available also once home for care in the home) and regular Sunday’s ( negotiable times and hours), and/or cover for school holidays and weekday afternoons where you can help out if possible (also negotiable).
This is a job share situation and we have a couple of carers who can share the load, so if you can only commit to one regular day or every second week still apply! We are flexible with hour/days due to the job share arrangement with other carers.
This work is with one delightful child with special needs (Cerebral Palsy) who is currently functioning at around a 7 year old level. He is well- mannered, and shares an interest in music.
To apply, you will preferably have childcare experience. Most importantly you will have a great attitude and love children. Car and license required for outings, will pay travel allowance. The home is located in Schnapper Rock, within 5 minutes distance from Massey Campus, Albany and 10 minutes from AUT.
