Our client is a privately owned specialist coatings manufacturer servicing wholesale and retail clients both domestically and overseas. We are currently seeking to find a ‘go-getter’ for this permanent role where there is the opportunity of career progression. Core segments of the business include:
- Epoxy Paint for the Pool Painting Industry
- Broad-wall Architectural for domestic/commercial interior/exterior usage:
- Printing Inks for the commercial screen printing and leisure art industries.
- Industrial Coatings for specialist industrial uses.
Due to continued growth they are currently looking for a Production worker/Paint Maker who will be part of the production team and be involved in the production process and warehousing. Primary objectives will include:
- Operating machinery
- Blending paint
- Filling and labelling tubs
- Placing finished product in correct bays for despatch
- Receiving and handling of raw materials
- Stocktake
Skills/Experience Required
- Manufacturing/compounding background
- Willingness to be ‘hands-on’
- Knowledge of warehousing duties
- Excellent team player
- Forklift licence an advantage
- An all round team player
