About the role
We are looking for Resident Services Representative to work afternoon shifts at our Metlifecare Hillsborough Heights village. You will join a well-run team ensuring a safe and secure environment for the village and our residents. Based in Hillsborough, you’ll be first responder for answering emergency call outs and call for assistance from emergency services. On offer is a role with variety and the opportunity to work hours that suit your lifestyle. This is a rewarding position where you make a difference to the lives of our residents who call Metlifecare home.
This stable Part time opportunity is working 37.5 fortnightly with 2.30pm starts.
Some of the great work you will be doing includes:
- Ensuring a safe environment for our residents
- Answering emergency call outs and call for assistance from emergency services
- Assist with afternoon care needs of our residents such as meal deliveries and medication.
- Provide direction as necessary to residents and visitors
- Actioning administration duties such as lead care, reports for unwell residents and reception enquiries
About you
To be successful in this role you’ll enjoy fostering and maintaining relationships with our residents, be able to remain calm and make decisions under pressure and have an honest nature. Training with be provided for the right person. Training will be provided for the right person.
- Exposure to working in hospital / medical or similar work environment (advantageous)
- Physically able to support our Residents in any emergency
- Be super organised and self-motivated
- Have good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Have impeccable personal presentation
- Hold Full NZ driver’s license to drive our residents in the buggy
