Our People team need a Senior People Advisor superhero to join our Tauranga office. If you have an inner drive and motivation to achieve, and making a difference is at the heart of everything you do, we’d love to hear from you.
About the role
This is a newly created role that will join our Advisory team to bring the magic. We are looking for someone that can handle complex ER and people issues and is energized by the challenge of partnering with the business and building culture. This role would suit an HR Professional that has experience working remotely from their base team. You will be based in our Tauranga office embedded in the operational team, with the rest of the People team based in Taranaki and Palmerston North – we are awesome at having fun and connecting remotely – but you’ll still need to be able hold your own. Perhaps you’ve been an HR Manager for a smaller business, or an HRBP working on an operational site and are looking for the opportunity to make an impact.
The difference you’ll make:
- Leading the charge on building a great place to work that’s worth the commute to the office
- Helping the people that work for us, and their leaders, navigate our policies and procedures
- Partnering with leaders to recruit the best people for our teams and create environments for them to thrive
- Advising on, and creating all things People related to reduce risk and increase engagement
Skills & Experience
It’s not the be all and end all, but we’d be stoked if you have:
- worked in a HR related role for a number of years to enable you to be confident to take the reins once you’ve found your feet
- a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field like Psychology or Social Work so you get the “why?” behind what we do
Our investment in you:
- Loads of flexibility – we embrace hybrid working so if you’d like to work a few days a week from home (or the beach) – that’s fine by us.
- All the usual stuff, but way better – 4% Kiwi Saver, ability to buy extra leave, paid volunteer days, free fruit in the office, amazing Parental Leave entitlements, free Life and Medical Insurance – I know right!?
- As much development as you can handle!
- Working with an amazing, supportive, and fun team – even if we do say so ourselves…
Applications close: Wednesday 27 April 2022
