Training and Document Control Administrator – Napier, Hawke’s Bay

We have an exciting administration position available within our Lumber Division for an exceptional Training and Document Control/Administrator at our Whirinaki mill site.

Reporting to the Senior Administrator – Lumber, we are looking for someone with strong administration and document control experience to support the Lumber team. You’ll be someone with strong PC literacy and comfortable with the Microsoft suite so you need to have a ‘systems slant’ and be tech savvy. One of the roles key focusses is management and control of documents so your attention to detail must be top notch.

In addition to the document control administration, the role will involve some training coordination work, assessting with creating and updating training records, courses and manuals for our team.

Your goal is to become the champion of Lumber’s document and training management process. Ideally, you will have worked with a document management system and have training experience but equally you must be a quick learner with a keen interest in mastering new systems. You’ll be someone with:

• Intermediate MS Word
• Excellent communication & relationship building skills
• A technical aptitude, strong attention to detail and accuracy
• High energy and self-motivation to work unsupervised
• A good communicator who follows up and is persistent.

Your day will involve using Office 365 and SharePoint to review, update, publish and manage our controlled documents.

Full training on our document management system will be provided and in return you will bring a mature attitude, initiative and positive outlook.

This is a part time position up to 30 hours per week, with flexibility as to how those regular hours are completed across the week.
