About the Role
You will be managing the 2 permanent staff and up to 30 volunteer staff in the day-to-day operations of the Presbyterian Support Otago Retail warehouse. This involves the management of receiving donations and warehouse storage space. The warehouse space supports 3 outlets including Shop on Carroll, Op Shop on St Andrew, and online. You may also cover for our retail manager, or in the retail shops as needed.
Hours: You will be working 25 hours per week between Monday – Saturday.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Enjoy op- shopping and have an understanding of vintage clothing and current trends in order to sort inventory.
- Be fit and strong to lift, push, and carry stock daily.
- Be reliable and trustworthy.
- Have a high level of attention to detail with the ability to notice and correct errors, omissions, and inconsistencies.
- Be enthusiastic, and have a sense of humor
- It would be an advantage to have at least 2 years of experience in managing retail or a warehouse environment.
