We are the Division of Shared Services, a team of highly skilled professional staff responsible for delivering an outstanding student and staff experience through high quality, effective service delivery to all the University’s internal and external customers.
Our specific focus is on the student experience felt by our students here at the University of Otago. We work to provide accurate and timely information, assistance and advice across a range of activities from admission to graduation.
The role/Te mahi
The role of Senior Administrator within Student Administration works to perform a range of routine and more complex administrative activities, usually connected with a specific area or portfolio.
You will analyse, respond and attend to enquiries and become a trusted point of contact for escalated enquiries and complaints while also taking action to facilitate resolution or problem solving where appropriate.
The specific tasks in your role may cover a range of Student Administration activities, such as University Admission, Programme Admission, Examinations and processing scholarship applications, but will vary depending on the portfolio of work you are focussing on. Due to the nature of the Shared Services Division, the range of tasks and responsibilities is broad and may require performing duties at different workplaces or locations across campus.
