Job Description:
WineWorks is the leading contract wine-bottling operation in New Zealand and an Essential Business with three plants based in Auckland, Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough. Kiwi-owned, we pride ourselves on being “Trusted to bottle New Zealand for the World” by supplying manufacturing and logistics services to our valued clients, the winemakers.
We are a small, dedicated team of Engineers and as a Shift Engineer you will be responsible for implementing Total Preventative Maintenance on all pneumatic and mechanical equipment and services during the assigned shift. This will include attending to breakdowns and assisting the Production Team with any engineering related issues. This will be done in a safe and cost-effective manner whilst minimising downtime and maximising production output. The position is for either night shift, or a rotating shift pattern. There will be a need for flexibility and some overtime may be required.
Our ideal candidate will be technically competent –a trade certified maintenance engineer- and have at least 3 years’ experience, preferably in an FMCG manufacturing environment, food/beverage packaging or short run manufacturing.
